Returns and withdrawal

Each Tara Edition piece is numbered and made in a single edition. If it is not right for you, you may return it. This page explains how.

Your right of withdrawal

You may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of the day you, or someone you name, receive the piece. You do not need to give a reason.

To withdraw, write to house@taraedition.com with your order number before the 14 days end. You may also use the model withdrawal form at the bottom of this page, but you do not have to. We confirm receipt by email.

Sending the piece back

Send the piece back within 14 days of telling us you are withdrawing, to the return address we give you in our reply. Please return it in its rigid box, with the numbered certificate card and envelope, packed in an outer shipping box. We recommend a tracked and insured service.

The cost of returning the piece is yours. Within the Netherlands this is usually the price of a tracked parcel; from elsewhere in Europe it will be higher.

You may examine the piece as you would in a shop. Please do not wear, knot or wash it before deciding. If the piece comes back worn, marked or without its box and card, we may deduct the loss in value from your refund.

Your refund

We refund the price of the piece and the standard delivery cost you paid within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal. We may wait to pay until the piece has reached us, or until you have shown that you sent it, whichever comes first. The refund goes to the payment method you used, unless we agree otherwise; it costs you nothing.

A returned piece re-enters the edition

When a piece comes back to us in its original condition, its number returns to the edition and may be offered again. The edition stays at 200.

Exchanges

Every piece carries its own number, so we do not exchange one for another directly. Return the piece as described above and place a new order for the design you would like.

Faulty or incorrect pieces

Inspect your piece when it arrives. If it is damaged, faulty or not what you ordered, write to us as soon as you can, and in any case within two months of noticing. We will repair, replace or refund it and cover the cost of return. This does not affect your statutory rights; every piece is covered by the legal guarantee of conformity under Dutch and European law.

Reservation deposits

A €50 deposit that holds an edition number is fully refundable until the balance is paid. Write to house@taraedition.com and we refund it to your original payment method.
